NEWS: Virgin Australia the airline of choice for babies

Virgin Australia the airline of choice for babies

Virgin Australia has become the first Australian airline to allow a dedicated baggage allowance for its youngest flyers (under 23 months of age). This applies across all Virgin Australia domestic and international routes.

Parents can now travel with a child who is under 23 months on a Virgin Australia flight and can check in for free an additional 23kg bag. This is in addition to the current allowance of two infant items such as a pram or a baby seat. Furthermore parents are also now allowed to bring an additional 7kg bag of carry-on allowance.

Well done Virgin Australia!
