Sydney Airport Parking
Sydney Airport (owned by Sydney Airport Holdings Ltd) is the most expensive airport to park at in Australia. In a 2016-17 report, the airport had the highest profit margin – 72% in 2018; which meant for every $1 someone paid for parking, the airport made $.72 profit. Consequently, the airport made a mammoth $97 million in profit from parking alone last year (2018) – Melbourne Airport was next best with $86.7 million.
However, there are ways to minimise the damage on your hip pocked, especially by pre-booking online or through a third party car park.

Terminal One (T1) is used for international flights
Terminal Two (T2) for domestic flights (Virgin Australia/Jetstar/Tiger/Rex flights)

Independent Operated Car Parks

The free shuttles sometimes are on demand and stick to a schedule – so there may be a long wait.
When arriving, some companies will direct you to the public express pick up point (which a 15 min walk from the terminal). While alternatively some will pick up from the dedicated shuttle bay which closer to the terminal.
Book your car park as early as possible as sometimes prices may vary and by doing this you most likely secure a parking sport with the cheapest rate available.
Surprisingly airport parking companies also have loyalty programs where regular customers are given additional benefits. For example, parkonking has a points based system where points earned can be redeemed on free parking and car washes – https://www.parkonking.com.au/loyalty-program/
Consider hotel stay and park deals. The Sydney Airport Novotel offers a stay, park & fly package where 7 days car parking is complimentary upon booking 1 night accommodation –https://www.novotelsydneyairport.com.au/special-offers/stay-park-and-fly-sydney-airport.html
